Upgrade to Google Workspace by June 27, 2022
Businesses will no longer be able to use the free version of G Suite legacy after June 27, 2022. We suggest that you upgrade now to a Google Workspace plan that fits your needs so that you can start using your new security and collaboration features for free until August 1, 2022. If you upgrade to a Business edition and choose the Flexible payment plan, billing won’t start until at least August 1, 2022.
If you wait, your account will be moved to Google Workspace on June 27, 2022, even if you don’t do anything. Set up Google Workspace billing before August 1, 2022, to finish your upgrade and keep your account from being closed.
You won’t lose access to premium content or additional Google services you purchased with your legacy edition account if you continue using Google but don’t upgrade to a Google Workspace membership (such as movies purchased in the Google Play Store).
Google Workspace has been updated with new features
- At work, it’s not just about changing your brand. Google has shown off a number of new platform features in the past.
- Google created Workspace to make it easier to talk to people on different platforms. This idea seems to be going around in the near future.
- The other Google Workspace products, like Meet, Chat, and Rooms, will work better together. This is good news for people who often switch between email, instant messaging, phone calls, and video chats.
- In the future, Chat will have more features, such as the ability to create documents right from within the app. People can work on these documents at the same time in real-time in the Chat room.
- Google says that users of Workspace can now look at related files in Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This means that people don’t have to open a new tab every time they want to add to a document.
- You can also put contact information in Workspace documents to make it easier to talk to people. When you @ someone in a Workspace document, a smart chip is turned on.
- This pop-up window will show the user’s contact information as well as useful options like video calling or sending an email. No one from your company fits this description.
- Google said in July 2020 that it planned to add Meet’s picture-in-picture feature to Gmail and Talk. lets people talk to each other in real-time by seeing and hearing each other.
- Google’s “picture-in-picture” feature will soon be available in Workspace’s Docs, Sheets, and Slides, according to a recent announcement. Firms that use the platform to work together from far away will be happy to hear about this new change.
